Who is Saiful Bukhari’s “God Mother” Mumtaz Jaafar?

Posted by ella-mae on August 2, 2008

Raja Petra Kamarudin mentions Mumtaz Jaafar as being Saiful Bukhari’s “God Mother” in two of his No Holds Barred posts.

The first was The Malay Unity Sodomy Conspiracy posted on July 26th, 2008 where he wrote the following.

Actually, Saiful hardly knows his father. His father abandoned his mother soon after he was born and the mother remarried. When his mother died, his stepfather also disappeared and Saiful was subsequently brought up by his uncle (or was it his auntie?). And one important aspect in this whole episode is that Saiful’s ‘God Mother’ is Mumtaz Jaafar — who is Rosmah Mansor’s nominee and ‘bag lady’ in all their clandestine business deals.

And RPK mentions Mumtaz Jaafar again today in his Killing Two Birds with One Stone No Holds Barred post, rather cleverly putting forward possible questions (with regard to her connection to the Deputy Prime Minister’s wife) that might be raised in court should Anwar be formally charged.

During the course of Anwar’s impending trial, Malaysians will be told of the link Saiful has with Mumtaz Jaafar. Malaysians will also be told who Mumtaz Jaafar is and what her ‘special’ links with Rosmah are. Further to that, Malaysians will be told about the relationship between Najib’s Special Officer, Khairul Anas, and Saiful — and the less than manly reputation these two buggers had while still in school. Yes, the excitement and kinky sex that is going to spill over from this trial will cause Astro to lose a lot of business.

So who is this Mumtaz Jaafar? I only know of one possibility and that is the former sprint queen of Malaysia.

Datuk Mumtaz Jaafar

Status : Part-time Coach

Race : Malay

Date of Birth : 30/6/62

Job : Sports Development Officer

Age : 46 (current)

Sex : Female

Achievements : Gold – 1981 SEA Games in Manila (100m)

Woman Athlete for 1981 & Selangor Sportswoman for 1981.

Malaysia’s top sprinter Watson Nyambek will be gunning for his first sprint gold medal in the SEA Games at his own turf. But unlike many other sprinters or even male athletes who train under another male coach, the “Flying Dayak” is being coached byMumtaz Jaafar, the former sprint queen in the region.

Born on Jan 30, 1962 in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Mumtaz rose to become one of the top women athletes ever produced by the country. At one time, she jointly held the national 100m record of 11.9 second with another former great, Marina Chin.

Her biggest achievement was winning the 100m gold medal in the 1981 SEA Games in Manila. She was named the Woman Athlete of the Year for 1981 and Selangor Sportswoman for 1981.

But in 1982 she had a despair outing in the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi.

Her disappointment continued a year later when she failed to defend her 100m sprint gold in the SEA Games in Singapore. In the same year, she announced her temporary retirement from athletics due to thigh injury and subsequently to have a baby. She got married to Dom Amy Hussein in April, 1982.

But her love for sports remained and she made a comeback in November, 1984. Mumtaz went to West Germany for a two month training stint in July, 1985.

Despite her courage and overseas stint, Mumtaz failed to make a strong comeback in the 1985 SEA Games in Bangkok but reigned supremacy on the local front.

She retired in April, 1986 after eight years of competition.

Off the track, Mumtaz who is employed by the Selangor Sports Council, remained active and was appointed as coach to Watson in November, 1997.

In July, 1999, she was retained as vice-president of the Malaysian Amateur Athletic Union (MAAU) and was the Woman Sub-committee chairwoman of MAAU.

The mother of four, who is also active in politics, lost her MAAU vice-presidency post in the election last year (not sure what year it was, because I got the bio data from this link and no one has bothered to update it).

Could it be THE Mumtaz Jaafar, the former sprint queen whom RPK says is Saiful Bukhari’s “God Mother” and a close Rosmah Mansor (bag lady) associate?

Gee, I dunno. Check out the photo below and you decide. Pay special attention to ladies marked as “MJ” and “RM”😉 Photo link here.

Meanwhile, check out this MalaysiaKini link where Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan has claimed that he accompanied PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim to three overseas trip this year alone.

And (OH!!), Saiful Bukhari has a blog ;)  Click here!

This guy is seriously lame. Come on, under police protection, you still have time to blog? It’s damn obvious what he did so far, not a single act resembles someone that is victimised. *!&#&F!&U*(*#C&&K!^E$$^R~!

    Mamak,

Easy there boy..no need for racial slurs in here. I hope you can be man enough to apologize to all Malays who read this piece..

    Scorpion,

That is uncalled for dude. I do expect you to come back here and apologize…

We are all Malaysians here..and all we want is a better country for us all to live in..Don’t stoop down to their level guys…

  13. barbie said

actually mamak is right🙂 after all, technically Malays ‘govern’ the country for the past 50 years, they have the political power, the ultimate final say in making ‘decisions’…

but scorpion is right too. why some mamaks always managed to ‘wedge’ themselves in conspiratorial situations? must be some special talents.. thanks to one ‘great’ mamak cum malay political madness for 22 years, we are stuck in this abyss he created.

but, that’s beside the point. keep the conversation nice and pleasant yeah? truce people🙂

Right girl, Barbie, you’ve got it! I should believe that they(the accepted umno types esp) have some special talents and the proclivity too. Sounds harsh and unfair but many past events have determined people’s conclusion.

please guys, to counter a racist argument with another racist argument is uncalled for. that is what the government wants, to polarise the population with a racist system. what you guys are doing is to play right into the hands of the government to make people racists. afterall racists people are predictable and the know just the way to manipulate racists. so please, each time you try are racist, imagine the glee of the government.

  17. wits0 said

Jingo, is the problem between India and Pakistan a racist one or something else?

It’s no exaggeration to say that the Gomen concerned here is one of the most unabashedly racist one in the world. For our part, if we do a little diagnosis by way of pointing out some salient causes would that be really as repulsive?

  18. jingoisticbuthornydesperado said

    Wits0,

Somebody has to to some research on the word Mamak? The word Niger is derogatory because it is a reference to slave trade in african, the word Paki is derogatory in UK because it refers to uneducated, creators of social problems, poor, uncivilised and barbaric. What is the historical baggae behind the word Mamak, I don’t know. Even if there is no historical baggage, one has to be cautious not to put it in a suggestively derogatory way to create new historical baggage.

  19. Well, the.word “mamak” is actually a corruption of the Tamil word “mama”. Unlike its meaning in English, the Tamil “mama” means uncle. Ask any Tamil friend or neighbour.

This is strange because most of the Malay words are actually Tamil or Sanskrit in origin. Take the word bumi and putera. This enunciated perfectly, yet “mamak” is “mama” with a “k”.

Do you know whenever we say, “ke arah barat”, it actually means “towards India (Bharat)”?

  21. The Internet and the World Wide Web is the 21st century’s key to a new-age democracy and freedom.

Much as it facilitates a borderless, interactive fusion of thoughts and feelings, we must rise above and go far beyond the rotten mindsets of “Semua-nya-okay”, “Correct-correct-correct”, “I-cannot-remember”, “I-have-nothing-to-do-with-it”, “I-am-only-a-wife-of-politician”, and what have you.

Let us use this key to prise open all forms of ‘dera’ and not end up C4-ing each other.

So, if there is a rotten response that points in the direction of the hooligan-politicans (and many examples we have), just ignore; don’t respond; move ahead with substance on the net.

    Good luck Malaysians.

  22. wits0 said

Jingo, being on the ground over time, I’ve heard Malays pronounced/used the word, “Mamak”, like something less than respectful. The others might have picked that up consequently.

The word “Nigger” is derogatory, so is “Whitey”. what is the Arab word for slave?

In M’sian history, the ultimate curse word for Chinese was, “Communist”, nothwithstanding that every race participated in the fighting the Communist insurgency. The highest award for gallantry and bravery went to a Sarawakian.

That the authorities refused to allow Chin Peng to return also suggests that it is unprepared to give up this curse-word usage.

“Racist”, has been hurled too easily against dissenting views that people are sometimes become scared to say anything not PC about things obvious and legitimate.

  23. barbie said

Anything can be derogatory if you want it to be, it depends how you use the word. Referring to Indian Muslim as Mamak here in malaysia, it just a reference. Since when it is derogatory? When you put words in people’s mouth and say it it derogatory. Just don’t take the word out of the context. I shall order my mee goreng Mamak as what now? Mee goreng Indian Muslim? give me a break!

“Racist”, has been hurled too easily against dissenting views that people are sometimes become scared to say anything not PC about things obvious and legitimate.

I agree with wits0 here, not because he was agreeing with me before this🙂 Do not throw the word racist easily to crush any discussions. The question here is, why it seems in most ‘political conspiracies’ in Malaysia, we have Indian Muslim aka Mamak players? Please discuss. Hahaha!

  24. saggiethewarrior said

Racist means one who blames one race for mistakes done by few from that same race. So to blame Malays for what UMNO has done is in fact being a racist. Might as well walk around with a gun start shooting any Japanese you bump into for the atrocities they have done !!

Are we in here to blame each other? Chinese and Indians blaming Malays, Malays blaming Chinese. Do we really want to go there?
I stick to my opinion, both Mamak and Scorpion comments are uncalled for.

I guess this is what all of you want huh? Good then..very very good !!

  25. barbie said

I think we should realise by now, that we all make mistakes, not any particular race in Malaysia, in fact all Malaysians to allow Malaysia to be what it is today.

Let’s stop the blame game now. I apologize for my comments, obviously distasteful after I reread it, it sounds like I am siding with Mamak on his comment that ‘Malays fucked themselves’ when I am not.

I sincerely apologize. My bad. I stand corrected.

  26. saggiethewarrior said

To err is human Barbie..no worries..

  27. wits0 said

Saggiethewarrior, I’ve always condemned MCA and the rest of BN for the rot, not just Umno and I’ve never once voted BN, so my conscience is very clear.

Nothing much to apologise for, Barbie, I’m worse than you ; used to love Penang Mamak mee rebus until nearly purged and vomitted to death with intestinal spasm for 3 days after taking that. Another occassion of serious diarrhea after partaking in an office buffet party(where caterer was by u know who) and almost everyone was affected. Never again please, for it is confirmed that some people’s traditional traits are indeed wanting(didn’t believe what was heard/known years earlier!). But of course, this is only about food.

Because we want to sound political correct that we have to obfuscate what we know as true so that we won’t appear to be “racist”?

  28. barbie said

Trying to be politically correct is the last thing in my mind. I was commenting, more in reference to UMNO elites and their supporters when I put that comment up to ‘support’ Mamak. I agree with Scorpion because the ‘coincidences’ are too overbearing. Then I also agree with you in reference to your statement in context, let’s not anyone use the word ‘racist’ to stop a discourse, which or BN-led government fond to do, never fail to use the word ‘sensitive’ at every opportunity.

So anyone still want to enlighten me on the Mamak Connection?

  29. Mamak said

Okay guys..I apologise for my remarks if it offended anyone. It was not meant as a racist statement as I’m half Malay! I shouldn’t have used swear words.

However, I do stand by my belief that these problems were self inflicted by the Malays. If we want to progress further, we need to take responsibility for our own mistakes and move on!

Let’s hope DSAI will lead the way to a Malaysian Malaysia…fairness and equality for all.

PS: I am not against the word Mamak…i’m one and proud of it.
However, I DO know for a fact that the Malays love to use it as a derogatory term. That is for sure since I lived with many during my years in uni.

  30. Mamak said

I don’t know where my previous post went but I apologise for causing offence to anyone. I meant the UMNO Malays and not all Malays in general.

I am, after all, half Malay – I know for a fact that for us to progress further as a Malaysian Malaysia – we need to take responsibility for our mistakes and learn from them.

    No use sugar coating anything…

  31. jingoisticbuthornydesperado said

Heyhey, don’t mistaken me for my appreciation of the word Mamak. In fact I like mamak mee goreng, and I always hang out at Mamak stalls. But I dislike it when Mamak is used to refer to a particular group of people being conniving in politics and untrustworthy and snaky. That is a bit too much. However, in such cases i tend to give people a benefit of a doubt. Such uses are usually a manifestation of the subconscious prejudice shaped by social surroundings. In case you guys haven’t noticed, I haven’t viciously put down anyone here have i?😛

or maybe it is just me, i have the tendency to make a conscious effort analyse people’s (including myself) subconscious manifestation. Lol.

  32. jingoisticbuthornydesperado said

that said, i think the discussion here is a constructive one, so kudos to all. some one has to do some research on mamak connection, not me, i don’t know enough. I know TDM is Mamak. And I don’t know what is the Arabic word for slave trade.

actually I don’t deem communist a derogatory word. the true history of communism has been thwarted by western propoganda out of self-interest rather than benevolence. I will come back to it on my next blog post.

haha, Wits0, you will find me more of a centrist. I don’t advocate capitalism or communism completely. In fact I am problem more inclined towards a lefty centrist. an extreme of either sides are not what i look upon and idolise.i advocate for capitalistic approach motivated by social welfare rather than excessive individualistic greed.

I am actually not against all of Eastern values. I believe in taking the best from all values😀

However I am not the right person to comment on Eastern values too much. I have been educated in the western way of thoughts for too long, and personally i have not done much study in the eastern values. So any comment I say here might be bias.😀

I have come to a conclusion and I intend to share it with other Malaysians; either RPK has either been reading too many “Hardy Boys” or “Nancy Drew” growing up or he had a really bad childhood. I mean looking at that dude, I for one would have had my lunch money sorted from him every day at school!!!I started of being an avid fan of his work but now he has become a hypocrite to say the least, I believe his intentions are questionable at times but generally remain good.
I thought his book on the Khairy Chronicles was absurd enough and filled with wild hillbilly fluff, but now it’s gotten worst!!Definitely the next J.R.R Tolkien…Next thing weknow little Elves are gonna part of his plot!!

What is really his “pied piperish” appeal? His charisma? His old age (I’m a sick old man), his “Joe Satriani” glasses, his “for the rakyat” plight? His claims of astonishing contacts that from what I see has to be (agent Mulder and Scully!! Sigh…yes…The music is playing in the background). For Christ sake, he is worse than a frickin tabloid!!He has yet to back single claim of his with any evidence. I rather read the so called forbidden papers these days as in “The Star or NST”. Why you ask? Yes, they manipulate the news, sometimes even they don’t report it but they definitely have substance to back their claims. You can’t print something in the news paper without any evidence or facts or you will get your ass sued as in what has happened to our “gossip queen” over here and some papers over the years. Just because Mr. “Southern Lion” is behind the papers and editing these days, don’t give me that line of”(ya lar see who is behind all this…they can manipulate all they want.. and my friends sisters cat said she saw it!!! but it wasn’t reported!!!)

That really does sound like one of the coffee shop dudes watching an EPL game going “of course they sold the game!!!Confirm!!”Dude wake up its 2008!!! This is not Liga Semi -Pro!!We need facts…Back it “frickin” up. Nevertheless, like Dan Brows Da Vinci code, Gossip and baseless rumours sells and enables the option to question (well at least his faithful masses might think so!!).Hailed as the peoples champ, everything he does claims to be for the rakyat and emphasizes on his non affiliations with any political regime. This dude seriously has some wild imagination… the best part is his followers or the “rakyat believers” are SOOO in to him that I thought I might shed some darkness on your light.

So Malaysians how is the political scene now for you? Better?

Indians you still getting ethnic cleansed? Being side lined still? You guys still not filling up the quota allocated for you varsity seats?!! But complaining about having an open race on merit? The Chinese will open a can whop ass …. and you wouldn’t even have a seat. Still fighting for Tamil schools? To protect our heritage? The British did this to segregate and rule? The Chinese schools has results, the Indian schools in India are one of the best in the world!! Something doesn’t add up? Still not enough temples? Still complaining about SV, probably the only few Indian political corrupt MPs, but when there are hundreds of other races doing it? Typical Indian crab story? Why so reliant on MIC? How many Chinese are reliant on MCA? How come gangsters and drugs is still a problem among Indians? Or is it that the Chinese don’t get caught? Is it true that we still generate most professionals per capita compared to any other race (I’m an Indian by the way…And not a rich one (if it rocks your boat!)?How many Ceyloneses consider themselves as Indians? They are the richest group in Malaysia per capita earnings!!How many Punjabis consider themselves Indians? But we have an MP going up on stage and shouting “MAKAL SAKTHI” and the Indians were in euphoria!! If his daughter or son was going out with an Indian .I’m sure he will be very pleased and embrace that dude with a MAKAL SAKTHI spirit!! Shouldn’t he?? Isn’t this an internal problem now, among the Indians? Nah, its Samy Vellu fault, isn’t it? There are two sides to every tale for every people that haven’t been touched by MIC or seen results, There are those who have benefited? So now that you guys have speared the demon and celebrated like it was 1999 when he lost!!What have you achieved again? Let’s see, the once which gained helped from MIC are screwed…The ones that were bitching away are still in the same predicament? Does anyone need math tuition or is it just me that notices statistics is just not our forte!! Did you know that on a recent survey 65% Indians said they will vote anyone but MIC? Wow that does speak level about our voting intellect doesn’t it!!

Ah my dear Chinese friends (the ones who criticize Malaysia). So is life treating you good? How was it before this? Having 17 out of the 20 richest people in the country? Not bad eh!! Owning 72 percent of the countries economical power? This happened over night? Having the highest migration rate once you have made your money? Which country gave you this opportunity? Hard work you say? You’d rather be in a mine digging a trench hole where ethics and human rights mean nothing back in Mainland? How come none of you guys are in the top 10 richest list in the world? That’s it rape and pillage the country and leave. If half the illegal activities as in bribes, illegal timber, prostitution, drugs, money laundering, VCD selling were put to a hault (I could go on but I don’t have the time).Where would you stand with your equity ratio now? What was the complains again? Why learn Bahasa Malaysia? Where is it going to bring you? You’d rather learn Mandarin? Then might as well go back to your mainland mate!! Why don’t you talk English to the French or French to the Chinese in Mainland!!That’s it in Malaysia we can keep what is what is ours and take what is not!

Sorry ill leave the above for another day, I have a tendency of side tracking. I have very detailed views on the above but I shall continue with what I set out to do on the first place. Back to our peoples Champ?

So how is it that wearing shirts like “please C4 me” funny? And pity the poor father he says!!You mean the same dude who wanted to make a movie out of this circus!! Poor father indeed! And you say we should bring the people behind this to justice? Maybe you should have worked harder in school and became a lawyer or something useful instead of standing behind the “I’m holier than thou” fence and pointing out flaws in the system. Yes a bankrupt blogger would know in depth knowledge of the justice system, shouldn’t he??

Mind you there are people on trial and families that await the judge’s verdict with daily sorrow and anguish, but it all fun to you!! The enlightened one, I hope you bring your facts to court? When the time comes for your sake I hope so. Heartless? Morbid humor? You decide his choice of interference? Why are we so prefixed on these allegations of his? There are people on trial, we should respect the families of the victims and the accused until the verdict is out, whatever the decision maybe. Not jump on the band wagon…Grow up!!

A lot of my friends tell me leave that poor old bloke alone, he is just a blogger; “if you don’t like it don’t read it!!” Well my point is that given the influence that he has have achieved and gathered, even the role towards the political tsunami. You have to be responsible towards the freedom given to you. Is it right for me to go live on TV in a football game watched by millions, head to the goal, strip and knob myself off!!Well there is media responsibility for you, exactly my point!!You must be responsible for your actions. And that has degraded and became personal with no ethics what so ever over the years.

You preach Non affiliation with politics and you are “for the people”. What is the ratio of your criticism directly at DSAI over the years?? Coincidence? On tour with his pre election campaigning? Conniving opportunist? You go figure. A plan to escape clutches from the law when the new government takes over and all charges dropped? Signs of desperation? So, how does it feel to be on the opposite end of speculation and rumor mongering Mr.RPK?!!

I don’t want to get too much in to the DSAI agenda like most rumor mongers. But like DR.M said in his blog”. Yet can it be that the present Government is so stupid and unimaginative as to use the same “ploy”, especially after it was so happy over the release of Anwar? Surely it could come up with another story which would be more credible if it is deliberately plotting or conspiring against Anwar. The probability is that the story is the same because it is genuine.” hypothetically speaking…if I had friend of mine and he is a habitual gambler and has occasional reefa urges (he is a good friend) .Over the years he is an irritant and has become annoying to me, I have to get rid of him. Though he has probably stopped reffa or gambling how would I frame him? “Judge I saw him having an affair with a ladyboy! No mate!!”That’s just so farfetched!!I I would want to indicate reffa and gambling associated with him and bring him down; like what they did to our ex health minister!!Because it’s there but it’s never brought up, like a trump card.

It’s like catching a bangla in a club with drugs, and keeping him on tab for future use. Let’s just say next week at the same club a royalty kid was caught with drugs. How to solve this? Let the boy go and bring in the bangla!! Morally wrong. Yes maybe, but did the bangla deserve to get caught!!Yes he did it any way!! You can’t just pull of stories form thin air, without any fire there won’t be smoke. If it smells like shit and looks like shit it has to be shit!! So my fellow Malaysian (probability experts)…You be the jury on this.

As for RPK I really do wish you best of health and good luck, but mate you have to stop getting personal cause you are stepping on many innocent people “including your rakyat”!! to get your justice across! Cheers! Oops… Sorry a good Muslim wouldn’t drink now would he??!!

If it isn’t broke why fix it!!I think we have caused enough shakeup in the government for them to not take things for granted. Let’s not take the step by changing and ruining what we have had for 50 over year’s .We have been heard, time to close ranks. I am aware that there are many loop holes on my arguments that I would love to elaborate to get the message through, but really we could be at it all day. So stop finding cracks at my reservoir above and take the positives out of this. I’ll sleep at peace knowing I used media to its best and responsibly. Cheers!

For one simple article you wrote, there are more craps than all the RPK’s articles I read so far.

    1. He has yet to back single claim of his with any evidence.

    – He did back much of his claim with evidences, when necessary and possible. He always include documents to substantiate his articles, and reveal his ‘sources’ when it’s the right time to do so. Well many of his articles sounding ‘over the top’, that’s up to you and his readers to make your own judgment whether he is just an old man writing craps to self masturbating his ego or he is telling the truth. You are insulting many readers intelligence for saying ‘he has yet to back single claim of his with any evidence’. Do you think people will read him if he’s writing craps? Man, you are writing more craps with your simple article if you do not realize it.

“A lot of my friends tell me leave that poor old bloke alone, he is just a blogger; “if you don’t like it don’t read it!!” Well my point is that given the influence that he has have achieved and gathered, even the role towards the political tsunami.”

How an poor old bloke writing bullshits able to gather so much influence? He must be writing something that make sense to many people but you🙂 It is frustrating heh, not being able to make out any sense why this poor old bloke, after writing so much rumors, never back his claims with evidence able to influence a ‘political tsunami’!

Heck, I am frustrated as well for I cannot fathom how on earth there are still many people voting for BN and UMNO for all the craps that they served to the people all this while! Wait, most BN and UMNO seats came from rural areas. AH! Am I implying people there less smart for choosing BN? Well, it is common knowledge people there are less fortunate, having less access to information, less educated and their priority more on bread and butter issue rather than issue of governance.

    2. “I rather read the so called forbidden papers these days as in “The Star or NST”. Why you ask? Yes, they manipulate the news, sometimes even they don’t report it but they definitely have substance to back their claims.”

    – I do not remember reading the same paper as you did, especially the part ‘have substance to back their claims’. The Star or NST perversion of words are glaring and good-everything-is-ok or good-news-for-government and bashing-opposition-mercilessly reports are not news. Those are opinions. We do not need to read newspaper for opinions, we can form our own opinions.

    3. Yet can it be that the present Government is so stupid and unimaginative as to use the same “ploy”, especially after it was so happy over the release of Anwar?

-That is your only argument? Yes, it is proven the current government is indeed so stupid and unimaginative. Hell, probably that’s what they want people to think, just like you!! How it is possible we are going to be tricked using the same tactic, over and over again? Right???

    4. If it isn’t broke why fix it!!I think we have caused enough shakeup in the government for them to not take things for granted. Let’s not take the step by changing and ruining what we have had for 50 over year’s.

Typical. Wait till the reservoir ‘broke’ and tell me whether it is the right time to fix it? Or you fix it when you see the cracks? Then ‘taking things for granted?’. Anything new from you? You are most probably those who sit on the fence of one of BN sympathiser, afraid to rock the boat for you are living ‘comfortably’ so far.

I believe Jingo wanted some info on the subject of Mamak. I’ve managed to dig up an interesting take on that from a journalist in the know, Joe Fernandez:

    q/

I believe the word Niger comes from the Niger region
    in Africa.

Some people think it comes from Negro which means
    black in Spanish.

re mamaks, all that is just low grade entertainment.
Islam does not recognise nationalism, only the Ummah.

Re the mamaks and half mamaks, they seem to have more
energy than the Malays and tend to be more educated.
Also, once a mamak gets into a high post, he practices
nepotism through networking to get the other mamaks
in. It’s often the case with small communities. The
“Malays” (actually Minang, Bugis, Javanese, Bugis etc)
end up at the bottom of the dung heap because they are
large in numbers. The mamaks are a highly networked
community. They even have clans like the Mericans,
Pitchais, Pakwan Teh, Pakwan chik, Thambychik, Thamby,
Keling, Khan (Pathan and the Tamil Pattani), Syed
(actually from India and not Arab) etc etc

Tun Razak is of Bugis and North Indian ancestry.
Huseein Onn is of Turkish and Malay ancestry. Mahathir
is of Malayalee and Malay ancestry. Badawi is of Malay
and Chinese ancestry. Anwar is of Tamil Brahmin and
Malay ancestry. Wan Azizah is of Korean and Malay
ancestry. I believe that Anwar is also the adopted son
    of one of Mahathir’s sisters.

It’s the same with the Kotares (Sri Lanka Tamils or
Jaffnas). Once a Kotare makes it to a top spot, he
gets all the other Kotares in through nepotism and
networking. For example, all the “Indian” generals in
the Malaysian armed forces are actually Kotares. There
are no Indians. Remember Thanabalasingam the first
Malaysian to be navy chief? He is a Kottare!

In recent years, many Kottares have even been willing
to become Muslims to further their Kottare cause. The
Muslim Kottares want a share of the mamak cake. I was
told this by a Kottare in the Army who became a
Muslim. The Muslim Kottares integrate with the other
Kottares and don’t keep themselves apart. Once a
Kottare, always a Kottare. The Muslim Kottares pride
themselves on being murtads who may be another clan by
    themselves in Malaysia.

Any Muslim married to a non-Muslim becomes a murtad
along with his or her spouse and mix with other
murtads. These are people who are actually atheists
and agnostics although they will sometimes put on a
big show of being Malays and going to the mosque and
fasting in public while eating at home. Talk to them
about Islam and they say the most derogatory things
about Islam and the Malays but only to the
    non-Muslims.

When I was interviewed by the civil service for
permanency, I was specifically asked by the three
member panel of Malays interviewing me whether I was a
Kotare. I told them I was a Malayalee. One of them
then told me to tell them, in Malay, whatever I knew
about Kerala. The other two stopped writing and all
three listened in rapt attention. I could see that
they were very impressed. My interview took longer
than the usual 5 to 10 minutes because the panel
wanted to know about Kerala. Outside the interview
hall, I was asked by my colleagues why my interview
    took so long.

Anyway, the Kotares passed the word around and they
all agreed to deny being Kotares during the interview.

The Sri Lankan fight is actually a fight against
Kotareism. besides their infamous dowry system to keep
the wealth within the comunity along the female line,
the Kottares like the Sikhs are also noted AhLongs.
Even Kottare lawyers are AhLongs with client money.

The word Kottare comes from the word PanamKottare i.e.
the Palmyra (fan like palm) tree which dots the Jaffna
    region in Sri Lanka.

Whenever a Malayalee refers to a Kottare as a Kottare,
he would respond with the word Mochakottare i.e. a big
pea which is reddish-black-brown outside and white
inside. It’s a bit like the Chinese educated and
Chinese speaking Chinese referring to the English
educated and English speaking Chinese as banana i.e.
yellow outside and white inside. I was educated on
this by a Chinese taxi driver.

re race, there’s only one race i.e. the Homo Sapiens
or Human Race. The variations in this species which is
also a response to the environment is to ensure the
    survival of the species.

There are variations in every species. For example,
there are 40 different types of padi.

That’s why Dolly the Cloned Sheep caught something
terrible after two years and just died. It was not a
product of the environment but something created in
the test tube which had no response to the
environment. That does not mean every cloned sheep
will die early but there is a very high possibility. u/q

For one simple article you wrote, there are more craps than all the RPK’s articles I read so far.

    1. He has yet to back single claim of his with any evidence.

    – He did back much of his claim with evidences, when necessary and possible. He always include documents to substantiate his articles, and reveal his ’sources’ when it’s the right time to do so. Well many of his articles sounding ‘over the top’, that’s up to you and his readers to make your own judgment whether he is just an old man writing craps to self masturbating his ego or he is telling the truth. You are insulting many readers intelligence for saying what he wrote if ‘he has yet to back single claim of his with any evidence’. Do you think people will read him if he’s writing craps? Controversy sells? You are saying that he’s banking only on controversy to gain support? His articles worth shit? Let’s be honest, he did substantiate his articles with reports and printouts wherenever possible and some of them remained ‘theories’- yet to be proven. Mate, let me make myself clear. I support the man’s cause, what the poor old bloke is doing for Malaysians.

Regardless of how truthful his articles are, he is doing some good – forcing Malaysians to actually use their brain! He is changing how Malaysians think and behave and he definitely play his part for Malaysians to be politically aware. So it’s fine there are people that think he’s writing the gospel truth, some read it for fun and some downright a non-believer. Rubbish-ing all his articles and making assumptions for me – saying I believe in RPK but not the justice system, is too much on your part🙂

Er, didn’t I stick to my views by presenting my lousy 2 cents on what you wrote? I conveniently left out half of your article because it is not interesting to me, especially the part what has BN done to me. It reminds me too much of miseries and frustrations, and I am no fond of people reminding me to be grateful to my country, becase for me it is the responsibility of the elected government to be the caretaker of the people. Government is there to serve the people and not to remind people how they should be grateful, how many things the government has done for the people bla bla bla.. Tell your boss what you have done for him, for instance.

You peanut story make no sense to me. I merely pointed out people in rural area have less information on the issue of governance and their concerns are more on ‘bread and butter’ issues hence it is easy for them to be manipulated. Neither I was implying I am smarter or their votes worth lesser than any other voter. Please stop putting words in my mouth.

Oh, how many non rural areaa BN swept? In Klang Valley? Sarawak and Sabah, many areas there are considerably less progressive than West Malaysia – their main issue still bread and butter – public roads, water supply, electricity, schools.. and BN manipulated this to their advantage didn’t they? With the gerry mandering and votes buying – heck it’s an open secret and please do not ask me to prove this. Go and ask around or mingle with the rural folks everytime election comes. There goes my speculation🙂

Yes, it is easy to point out flaws and that’s what I am good at🙂 A smart government like BN should react to my complaints and the flaws what naysayers like us pointed us. Heck why we need the government for if we need to give out the solutions as well? Why the government needs the compliments for? Thing is there are more flaws than good things to be complimented, still you want people to appreciate the little ‘good work’? Compliments are not given easily, if you do not already know that.

You probably do not get this, it is not a bad thing wanting for change. It is a start, so people will get used to it. People should get used to changes, well if the next government is not doing good people should change them again. Why you are so anal about people wanting a change?🙂 That is a sign of people like me not being grateful?

ps: Please, do not write in caps if you reply to me. I hate people writing in CAPS, second to people writing LiKe tHiS or liddis.

    Well said, Barbie!🙂

True Democracy IS all about change! It is abt true representation for the people. We are the govt….the govt is not a bunch of people who ‘govern’ us….they are there to fulfill our dreams and aspirations. That is what democracy is about! You dont have to be grateful for what is rightfully yours!!! Malaysia belongs to ALL Malaysians…NOT to an elite few🙂

It is a waste of my time typing this as it is common sense. Nevertheless I have been proven before common sense is not so common any more)
    2. His articles worth shit? Let’s be honest, he did substantiate his articles with reports and printouts wherenever possible and some

    (I beg to differ)

    3. of them remained ‘theories’- yet to be proven.

(I like how you slipped in “yet”. What he knows is not rocket science. People have known about this for years.)

    4. Mate, let me make myself clear. I support the man’s cause, what the poor old bloke is doing for Malaysians.
(I will support some of his claims but not all blindly. Let me ask you this, where was he doing Mahathirs era? Around I know… but why not so famous… Same constants used in an equation RPK, BN difference is Mahathir and Badawi. Do the math? Ignorance is bliss!! Why the need to come out and defend yourself against allegations of his connection with Mahathir? Siapa makan chilli dia akan rasa pedas!!You decide mate. )
(Why the need to talk about Islam in a different light that only gains the approval and respect from non Muslims and the once that don’t live a Muslim life to say the least. In other words to justify their cause. It’s only human nature. NOW he is backing Razaleigh a Semangat 46 mate who had a complete different ideology, whom resorted to receive the olive branch of Tun M and was a practicalist not an idealist like what you are.
With all this going on suddenly Najib is targetted. Im in no way a fan of Najib, but he has made it personal with Najib now that he is being told to”pick up the soap”it was coming and he knew it. Why are you getting personal at this is my question to you? Look at the bigger picture? Lets look at Asia and even Australia. I’ll take the ones I think matter, and and sum it up quick for you
China, India, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore
China? A “communist” booming economy? Hypocrites? There shouldnt be any extreme poverty than there should be, shouldn’t it? Get a documentary of Nepal and you might get your head around. I’m not going to even start about corruption.
India? has 3- 4 billionaires in the top 10 list. One of the best air force in the world? I could go on describing their brain drain and all that is good with equal opposite end of the spectrum examples on the poverty and corruption.
    Australia? Abo who?
Now let’s take the satellite countries of The USA or the UK ( HK and Taiwan, Japan)
Taiwan sole purpose is what it is for the Yanks and now the power struggle to obtain this experienced exploited tramp
Hong Kong,Capital of money laundering for the Brits? I wonder where would it have been under mother Chinas rule from the beginning.
Japan?thank your lucky stars that you guys bombed pearl harbor and got nuked in return. Actually the world should..hehehe.or else we would be sikghailing each other!!!
.If the yanks never kept to their policy on rebuilding nations that they infiltrate would Japan have made it as far as to what the Brits left us with? maybe but not necessarily.
Ill elaborate more on Singapore as it’s the best to compare with. Don’t start with me on resources and size as being an island like that geographically as well as nautically has its advantages as well.
Singapore is praised do much .Racism is worse there!! ask any layman, Malay, Indian and even the Chinese? The only difference is the Bumiputera status is official here. I never said it is right.Im just stating a point.
LKY hybrid race of Singaporeans were forced to give up their Chinese dialects.. I rather take it up the rear with lubricant than forcefully like what happens in Singapore
Temasik holding ,singtel.M1 ,Starhub ..I could go on.. the best part is its in bright daylight everyone knows who is on the board..retired but still LKY created a mentor minister post for himself which never existed in history in anywhere in the world!!!
He has the highest paid ministers in the world. but when people like Mr.Jayakumar stood up to him and cost the most an opposition could ever muster in Singapore history he was sued broke!! Just thank your lucky stars you are not a blogger in Singapore.
So really, tell more than 3 countries in Asia that ideally fits your perception of a political scenario of justice and bliss! Every nation has its issues and are no prime example of angel like ruling that you seek.
I will chop my … and hang on this thread

Regardless of how truthful his articles are, he is doing some good – forcing Malaysians to actually use their brain!

Who is to determine what is good and that Malaysians have not been using their brain. All he did was to give them an option, but now he has made it personal. Now it’s more like the blind leading the blind. You can say “ok that’s enough”
What a coincidence you are a very much of chirpy character as well…I figure since you liked smiling a lot….
My points are to be grateful and thankful…and when you are unhappy vote wisely. Which you have and I have, but now it’s time to close ranks. You rather bet on something you haven’t got any clue what so ever on. Or on a system that worked but needs a revamp. If you were a betting man? Where would you put your quid on? If it isn’t broke why fix it like i said? Contented.?.maybe, but I rather be contented than blind fully spiteful!!)

He is changing how Malaysians think and behave and he definitely play his part for Malaysians to be politically aware. So it’s fine there are people that think he’s writing the gospel truth, some read it for fun and some downright a non-believer. Er, didn’t I stick to my views by presenting my lousy 2 cents on what you wrote? I conveniently left out half of your article because it is not interesting to me, especially the part what has BN done to me. It reminds me too much of miseries and frustrations

(Miseries and frustrations? Yes, you are the only one, the government shall provide for all and please the entire nation obi wan like planet Melmac…sigh I miss Alf..)

and I am no fond of people reminding me to be grateful to my country, becase for me it is the responsibility of the elected government to be the caretaker of the people. Government is there to serve the people and not to remind people how they should be grateful, how many things the government has done for the people bla bla bla.. Tell your boss what you have done for him, for instance.

    (I agree.)

You peanut story make no sense to me. I merely pointed out people in rural area have less information.

    (Lets see less information!!!
    Media Prima,Star,Nst
OR blogs, unauthorized gossip papers and opposition papers
I don’t know where you have been, but maybe you need to go to the kampungs more often and see what they are reading. So when you say lack of information what do you mean? The sources which you disregarded earlier!!or is anyone out there as dumbfounded as i am on what you are trying say.)

On the issue of governance and their concerns are more on ‘bread and butter’ issues hence it is easy for them to be manipulated. Neither I was implying I am smarter or their votes worth lesser than any other voter. Please stop putting words in my mouth.

(So kindly explain what you meant won’t let you escape just like that)

Oh, how many non rural areaa BN swept? In Klang Valley? Sarawak and Sabah, many areas there are considerably less progressive than West Malaysia – their main issue still bread and butter – public roads, water supply, electricity, schools.. and BN manipulated this to their advantage didn’t they?

(You asked me a question , and my answer is NO.)

With the gerry mandering and votes buying – heck it’s an open secret and please do not ask me to prove this. Go and ask around or mingle with the rural folks everytime election comes. There goes my speculation

(So you are actually trying to tell the people who are being bought over that you don’t need this! Don’t except bribes!! We can overhaul the system (a system that you believe exist)..The same way no political analyst in the world can fight the increasing cost in “production” and cost of petrol in the world but DSAI can do it!!of course if it’s at the expense of other investments my standards 5 cousin would have had very similar ideas as well!!I highlighted production as many people don’t seem to be aware of this!!!
..At the end of the day ..the rakyat excepted the bribes still. The same rakyat that has a say in this government whether they like it or not. The same government DSAI the repented “morning star” used to get votes from in the same way as well, the same government RPK used to vote for as well..does this mean the government even in bribing, know the people they can’t and can control. A form of leaderahip?it cant be from an idealist like you. I wonder why they really need RM200.00 it must mean really a lot to them)

Yes, it is easy to point out flaws and that’s what I am good at A smart government like BN should react to my complaints and the flaws what naysayers like us pointed us. Heck why we need the government for if we need to give out the solutions as well? Why the government needs the compliments for?

(The government doesn’t need the compliment, you need to acknowledge it and be more responsible as a citizen. No one has asked you to compliment the government in a manner of a tap on the shoulder or letter of acknowledgement!!)

Thing is there are more flaws than good things to be complimented; still you want people to appreciate the little ‘good work’? Compliments are not given easily, if you do not already know that.

    (I noticed… I’m yet to receive one)

You probably do not get this, it is not a bad thing wanting for change. It is a start, so people will get used to it. People should get used to changes, well if the next government is not doing good people should change them again. Why you are so anal about people wanting a change? That is a sign of people like me not being grateful?

(I want a change as well, but I will not vote anything but BN or similar concepts. If you think BN you government can’t be saved go ahead and vote. Its not a dare its a point to make sure people know why they vote. Good luck !
There is no other candidate. I won’t be spiteful and vote. But i believe there are better candidates in BN than in the opposition. Like the camera wielding knobber who cant differentiate a “Phillips head or an Alan key” in politics!!!He can’t speak the nation language fluently. A night at fame with his so called “the camera was accidently on”. Ok he has done and brought justice>but my my your intellect of the urban places actually voted for him!!!You might want to reexamine what you call more progressive people!!Might as well i vote for you like that,..that is if you satisfy the public and stand..please. An ideal candidate to vote for, I must say.
When an Mp has two sons in the opposition its not nepotism but the son in law and of PM and our Ex Tun gets the whip for similar conducts. Now we are being picky aren’t we??)

ps: Please, do not write in caps if you reply to me. I hate people writing in CAPS, second to people writing LiKe tHiS or liddis.

(I believe my humble response to the caps does not seem to be understood by your feeble mind, and on typos, acronyms and snippets of vocabulary description. if you don’t like it .DEAL WITH IT!!! or just delete my posts..and safe yourself the blushes..I will remain civil if you do as well, when you say
“Please, do not write in caps if you reply to me. I hate people writing in CAPS, second to people writing LiKe tHiS or liddis.”It doesn’t help
Remember I don’t owe you an explanation. Cheers!!)

Damn I was in a midst of writing a reply, why you people scared him off?🙂 Never mind, last reply🙂 Hey mamak session anytime mate, just don’t whack me in a midst of heated arguments, please.

    Dear anonteabagginmalaysian,

Obviously your common sense and mine differs a lot, so it should stay that way. No argument there.

Hold your horse mate, since when I said I am all for his claims blindly? During Mahathir time, internet and blogging was still in its infancy stage, and thanks to Mahathir efficient media control, nobody dares to fart. Now, Badawi administration, people started to embrace technology better, bloggers on fire and thanks to Badawi clueless or I must credit him for his ‘openess’ that we have chance to fart.

RPK connection with any Ah Beng or Muthu or Ahmad is immaterial for this discussion. He single handedly bring awareness to Malaysians especially on political issues – a taboo before this. Whether you agree with his articles or not, that’s another issue. Maturity among Malaysians is growing and let them decide for themselves what is truth and what is lies. Why he is getting personal? That’s his choice to make.

Oh man, you are much worse a cynic than me. Thanks for the examples anyway. I will skip that part.

But I have this to say, just because there is no country that ‘fits the perception of a political scenario of justice and bliss’ Malaysia shouldn’t strive to be one? Hey, I heard this ‘corruption is everywhere, so it is okay because we are not that bad, really’ reasoning too many times. Yes, call me idealist again please🙂

“Every nation has its issues and are no prime example of angel like ruling that you seek.”

So what are you implying? Be contented because you embrace practicalism? Hah! Sorry mate. The search for utopia is for all to dream, even though there’s little truth utopia exists. Why there must be a prime example, for things to happen? Man, you are too pessimistic.

It is obvious that for you, it’s not ‘broke why need the fix’ but for me it’s broken beyond repair so let’s change the whole thing. We can never meet there. Too bad.

When I said information, I was referring to both sides of the coin.

“So you are actually trying to tell the people who are being bought over that you don’t need this! Don’t except bribes!! We can overhaul the system (a system that you believe exist)..”At the end of the day ..the rakyat excepted the bribes still.”

That tells a lot about you. Practical person heh? It’s okay to accept bribes because it’s practical and there’s no perfect system in this world.

“The government doesn’t need the compliment, you need to acknowledge it and be more responsible as a citizen. No one has asked you to compliment the government in a manner of a tap on the shoulder or letter of acknowledgement!!”

Responsible citizen? As far as I concern I did not irresponsible so far. Voted I did. Acknowledge I did, although there are little for me to acknowledge, but I am trying. More than that I ask questions when necessary and convey my dissatisfaction as a citizen, is that too much?

What you want to vote, or strategy is yours to make. Sure I know why I vote mate. Oh to let you know, I agree they should have fielded a better candidate than the cameraman, glad I didn’t have to make a choice because he was not contesting at my area. Tough choice really.

An ideal candidate to vote for.. you said? Well, you just called me idealistic. Hmm.. In this idealistic world of mine, there’s no ideal candidate, only ideal party, because every decisions made are dictated by the party. Too bad, we are still far from having candidates that brave enough to break rank and speak for the people. There goes my ideal candidate. Well, because I am a hopeless idealist, I shall hope for the day to come.

Being picky and taking sides, isn’t that what facilitate a debate / discussion? You take your side and argue yours and I do mine.

hampa tak dapat jemputan ke mamak!!!

your independent scumb…Excerpt about our hero RPK
When talking about his former comrade-in-arms PKR Adviser Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysia Today Editor Raja Petra Raja Kamarudin said it was about “personal loyalty”. But both of them persisted in their own principles.
Raja Petra met Anwar at the Malay College Kuala Kangsar. Anwar was his senior as he was three years older than him. Later, both of them joined Malaysian Islamic Youth Movement (ABIM).
He said that he and Anwar have been friends with a same goal but different routes.
He followed Anwar to join ABIM when Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad became the Prime Minister. They took part in Islamic culture reform movements.
Later, Anwar joined Umno. He did not agree and did not follow.
Two or three years later, Anwar wanted to contest for the Umno Youth Chief position and his competitor was Suhaimi Kamaruddin. Anwar asked for help from his old friends. As Anwar was his friend, senior and former ABIM member, he agreed to help.
However, he stressed that: “I supported Anwar but not Umno.”
Raja Petra was responsible for electioneering included dinner arrangements and network connections during the contest period. Eventually, Anwar won.
Raja Petra continued to help Awar as an outsider to keep the Umno Youth Chief position for three times in a row. Then he said: “That’s enough!”
Anwar’s power Umno was increasingly consolidated after he became the Umno Youth Chief. He was ambitious and wanted to challenge Tun Ghafar Baba for the position of Deputy Umno President.
Raja Petra and his friend did not agree with Anwar as they thought they should wait for Ghafar’s retirement.
“We all knew that Ghafar would not be the Prime Minister. He was older that Dr Mahathir and his education background was until standard six. Malays paid great respect to him as he was one of the fighters for the independence of Malaya.
“Malays have deep respect for him. You couldn’t just overthrow him like this. Anwar should give Ghafar more time to resign himself. Therefore, I didn’t agree with the young Anwar who challenged Ghafar. I think he paid no respect to the elder.”
Thus, it was the time when Raja Petra and Anwar parted ways. He and his friends no longer helped Anwar in electioneering.
Raja Petra was a leading member of Parti Keadilan Nasional (now Parti Keadilan Rakyat)—the party set up in response to the arrest of former Malaysian deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim in 1998.

Entah sampai bila Malaysia nak maju. Kerajaan susah payah bangunkan Malaysia 50 tahun.

    3. Macam bidalan Melayu ….MACAM KERA DAPAT BUNGA
    4. Sistem Keluarga semakin kucar kacir… mak bapak sibuk hingga anak-anak tidak diasuh dengan sempurna.

According to the Kamus Dewan, ‘mamak’ in the Minangkabau dialect refers to an uncle on the maternal side of the family. I suspect we may be able to trace this back to ‘mama’ the Tamil word for uncle. The Temuan (an Orang Asli group which speaks a Malay dialect) in Selangor use ‘mamak’ in the sense of ‘uncle’. It can also be used in the same way ‘uncle’ or ‘pakcik’ is used here, as a term of respect for an older male person.

So perhaps the term mamak started life here as a term of respect for Indian Muslims, and then came to be generalised to refer to all Muslims with some Indian blood in them. How it acquired a derogatory nuance, well, who knows?

Hey all you people you have gone completely off track from the original topic of Mumtaz Jafaar. I don’t care about her race or creed as every citizen has a legitimate place under the Malaysian Sun.WE ARE MALAYSIANS FIRST and whether we are Malay, Chinese, Indians, dan Lain Lain does not matter.

Now back to Mumtaz I live around where she stays in Taman Tun @ Jalan Athinahapan the first house in the corner adhjacent to Jalan Datuk Sulaiman. Over the last 3 years I have seen her wealth grow exponentially. First she did extensive renovation to her existing double storey link house, then she bought over the next door unit and renovated it in an identical manner. She acquired motor cars one after another and has two Mercedes Benz a MPV a toyota imported model and another two cars I can’t remember what they are. All her vehicles have 292 as the Number plate. Those readers living around TTDI can check it out.

This I believe is the benefit of NEP UMNO style rob the poor and feed the rich.

Yes RPK is defintely worth his salt with his in-depth writings with proofs ( SDs included ) in his bank vault if you want to see. He did dare the Police and prosecution to bring him to court on the relevant issue but they dare not.

RPK’s writings, views and outlook in life showed that he is a principled man and has the courage to expose the many social ills not many people especially the leaders would want to hear. Corruption, frauds, high level involvement in murder, racism and waht have you are the order of the day in the present day government and it is his duty to expose the truth.

For all this, those who did not want these exposed just because their sources of income will be stopped or some would like to keep most of the riches to themselves. That is why they did not like RPK and not because he is alleged to be writing craps.
